This is my HG pink gloss. It's full coverage, shimmery, and cheap. All qualities I want in an HG gloss. I won't say to go with this product if you want full coverage, because the coverage switches from shade to shade. I tried other pink ones and they were sheer.
This lipgloss has been highly toted as a dupe for MAC's Nymphette(?) lipgloss. I have not purchased the MAC gloss, but I have purchased this one and I quite like it. It is a gold/pink color with a lot of metallic shimmer in it.The gloss was a steal at the price of $1.72 at my local Target, compared to the MAC lipgloss at $14.
I would recommend this product!!
Pros:Dupe of a higher end brand lipgloss for a lot less. Cons:The gloss has a soapy aftertaste to it that might turn off some people.
I looooovveeee this lip gloss. It is a beautiful wine/berry color that goes on the lips with ease. There is however a smell and taste to the lip gloss that reminds me of shampoo, fortunately the smell and taste is slight and it doesn't bother me at all.
I love NYC and I prefer their lip glosses to the more expensive stickier versions.
Pros:Great color, price and a lot of product in the tube. Cons:Slight smell, taste.
I love this gloss... it's such an HG for me! First things first--it's in a .33 oz squeeze tube, is 100% clear with no shimmer (only shine), and has a minty smell. It's inexpensive, only $2.99. I can't imagine anything wrong with it except that it's sticky, but it lasts well because of that... anyways, everyone needs their HG clear gloss, that they know they can put on and not add any shimmer/color to their lips but just clear, glassy shine. That's all this does, and it does it welll!
Pros:price, clear, shiny, smell, lasts well, squeeze tube, my HG clear gloss Cons:none for me 'cept that going outside with this on means pulling hair strands from your lips... but the stickiness helps this last!
wow, this product is my HG clear gloss. why spend $12 for a m.a.c. clear lipglass when i can get an equally amazing clear gloss for 1/4 of the price? this has a minty smell that
s not very lasting on the lips. the gloss itself lasts for hours; it lasted after i drank milk from the mug and ate a cookie. it's clear, shiny, and sexy alone or over lipstick-whichever you prefer. don't like clear? n.y.c's pink gloss is equally hottt!
Pros:.33 oz for $3, shiny, lasting power, minty smell (for me), has the factors one can expect from a clear gloss Cons:some people may not like the minty smell, kiss gloss isn't pigmented all that much (even the colored ones)
I bought this because I read it was comparable to MAC clear lipglass. I got the cool mint flavour and it's a nice soft mint type scent/taste as opposed to a strong mint smell. The gloss lasts for a long while, even after eating, the tube is nice and squishy for a nice easy application...I get th feeling that even when it's nearly running out I will still be able to get gloss out. It's super cute and small too, and very cheap, I would definately buy it again.
This is a wine or brownish-red color lip gloss, but is not the darkest wine color I've seen. It has very good color coverage (i.e. it doesn't go on practically clear like so many other drugstore lip glosses I've tried). I normally only wear pale pink lip colors, but I love this gloss because it's the first product that's darker than my actual lip color and doesn't make my lips look orange! (I have very pale skin, and I guess you'd call my lips a rosy-pink color.) It lasts fairly well but it's not the most long-lasting lip gloss I've ever tried. The color seems pretty true on my lips. At only $1.99 this is definitely something to check out!
Pros:Pretty color, good color coverage, inexpensive, doesn't look orange on me Cons:not as long lasting as some lip glosses
Pencil & Pout is a two-in-one gloss and lipliner, which retails for about $2.50. For such an amazingly cheap price, this is a really nice gloss. I picked up Teaberry Duet, a deep mauvey-plum shimmer. The pencil fits into the cap, and it's very smooth and creamy, and just a touch darker than the gloss. The gloss itself isn't overly shiny, but is thicker like a liquid lipstick, and has a nice shimmer. It stays on pretty well, because it's just slightly sticky. I'd definitely pick up more of these, since they're so cheap and cute.
Pros:Great color, two-in-one product, cheap price, great quality. Cons:none
The color is ok-not good-just ok, but I don't like the way this gloss feels. And it doesn't last at all. It's just a little sticky and I hate that about most glosses. The worst thing is that my lips got very dry after I used this.
In the package this looks like a pink color that has a peach shine when the light hits it; but on my lips it's actually a golden shine. (I probably should have guessed that from the name of the color!) It's a nice product and does add a lot of shine and a bit of shimmer to your lips; however I can't decide if I like this color because I'm not used to gold on my lips! But at only $2, I will consider buying other colors of this product!
Here is a picture of Liquid Lip Shine, although Sungold Pink is not shown:
Pros:Inexpensive, nice shine and shimmer Cons:Not sure if I like the gold color
Good cheap gloss. A nice summery shade - sheer pinky coral. I hardly ever use it so no need to repurchase, but a fun color when I'm looking for a change.
Bliss is a nude mauve that gives me a MLBB look at a cheap price. It is quite sticky and has a sort of fruity scent. The tube is about the size of Revlon's SL glosses (but round) and comes with a brush-tipped wand applicator. Has a great price, so no harm in trying it out! I probably wouldn't buy it again since I have so many other MLBB glosses that aren't as sticky, but I would probably try others in this line.
This is such a pretty gloss. A "bubblegum" pink with silver shimmer in the tube, it goes on with a hint of pink and sparkle along with plenty of shine on the lips! This gloss is easy to apply, too, since it comes in a squeeze tube with a slanted tip.
Kiss Glosses are quite sticky, so do be aware that you won't want to wear this on a windy day if you have long hair! It lasts a fair amount of time for a gloss and smells very sweet. And the price - you just can't beat the price! (Around $2 USD I think!)
I love this gloss! I have cool mint, raspberry , chocolate fudge. I use the cool mint the most because it is clear. This gloss never leaves my lips dry and it last a long time. Yes, it is sticky but moist and slick too! For some reason I love the packaging for this gloss, something about the plastic they used for the tube it's nice a squishy...LOL The applicator is slanted and easy to apply the tube is small enough to slip anywhere.
I found this to be a slightly darker mauve shade of the Brush On Lip Glaze in Bliss...beautiful color indeed. A dark mauvey pink with lots of shimmer. It was definitely a YLBB color for me. The liked the citrus scent but sometimes find these difficult to wear b/c the fake sugary orange taste can be a bit overwhelming.
There were such wide spread raves for these when they first came out that I thought they must be one of the greatest glosses to bless drugstore shelves and ages. Apparently I missed something b/c these are not so great IMO. I got Pink Lemonade, which was a medium but sheer pink. It smelled and tasted nice, but no different than any Bonne Bell product out there. The gloss wasn't tacky, but not slick either..there was a nice medium there. However I just wasn't impressed with the gloss as a whole, hence the average rating. I may purchase again tho b/c I want to try it in Raspberry, which I heard gives a nice berry stain to lips.
Oddly enough when I purchased this I noticed their were two shades of this with the exact shade name. One shade was a deep blue based almost fuschia shade, and the other was a frosty lavendar. The more daring side of me choose the lavendar shade as it seemed more dramatic in color and effect. Turns out these have a wretched smell and this color was almost impossible to make work and look natural. It was entirely too frosty and I found the gloss to be rather thick and hard to get an even application.
I picked this up at my Shopko for a mere 73 cents. The color screamed Springtime to me so I had to have it, and at that price there was nothing to lose. Brilliant is a bright corally pinky peach in the tube but goes on much sheerer and gives me a nice summery brightness to my lips. I love the brush applicator. The smell is nice but the artificial sugary orange taste is slightly annoying. Overall not bad, a 73 cents well spent :p
